Resident Activities –

The goal of the Activity Department at the Villa is provide various activities and outings to improve the social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the residents.  Dee Ide is the activity director at the Villa.  Everyone at the Villa takes an active part in doing activities of every kind.

Residents also go on many outings, at least once a week.  Some of the places that we have been is the Mark Twain River Boat in Hannibal for Dinner, Wal-mart Trips and out for lunch, Theater productions, Homecomings, Shelby county Fair, Quincy to Kelly’s for supper and to see the Avenue of the Lights,  Windmill Ridge, Wild Bill’s Exotic Ranch, Totten’s Pumpkin Farm, Mark Twain Lake for the Fall Leaves, and the Senior Citizens Center just to name a few.

Exercises are held each morning.  Various activities are planned throughout the day and on weekend’s church services are held.  Various groups and organizations also perform and/or hold meetings at the Villa allowing the residents to attend.
