Food Service –

The food at the Shelbina Villa is all home cooked and made from scratch.  We strive to provide meals that are nutritious but also that meet our residents tastes.  Menus are planned for a six week cycle, incorporating favorite foods and new recipes.

Our menus are planned and meet the 100% of the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for your nutrients.  A Registered Dietician reviews the menus and does a quarterly evaluation of the menus and residents.

Once every six weeks we have a Resident’s Choice meal where the residents choose what they want to eat.  The past few months have been Prime Rib and Fried Shrimp, which everyone has enjoyed.
