Medicaid along with many private insurances are accepted at the Shelbina Villa!

RATES

Private Room (no roommate and private bath) - $2,372.50 ($78 per day)

Suite - $2,555 ($84 per day)

2 Room Apartment (1 person rate) - $3,832.50 ($126 per day)

Rates are based on a per person rate.

MEDICAID

If your loved one is on Medicaid, it is accepted at the Villa. The way that Medicaid works is the income that your loved one gets, e.g. social security or pension is solely used to pay for the room at the Villa. They get to keep $30 per month for incidentals and the rest pays for the room. The State of Missouri compensates the Villa $156 per month to help pay for the room. The following is an example:

The Residents Social Security Income - $500.00

The Residents Pension Income - $30.00

Total Income - $530.00

Rent at Villa - $500.00

Residents money per month - $30.00

State aide - $156.00

Villa total for room is $665.00 per month. ( No one makes the difference up in this situation, this is the price that we rent the room for.) Medicaid residents sometimes, dependent upon occupancy levels, are requried to share rooms.

INSURANCE

Many long term care insurance policies will pay for your stay at the Shelbina Villa. Just give us the information and we will take care of the rest in working with the company to make sure that they take care of your claims.
